Vitamin E and carotenoids against solar radiation
Based on indications so far, they have a photoprotective action. Studies have shown that they protect against erythema, which is caused by intense exposure to UVA and UVB radiation, while absorbing various wavelengths of UV radiation, thus protecting the skin from the oxidative changes caused by ultraviolet radiation.
Green Tea
Lastly, green tea also has a protective effect against sun exposure. Green tea extract is extremely rich in antioxidants. The main class of antioxidants found in green tea is polyphenols. Of the polyphenols in green tea, the most studied and linked to sun protection are catechins.
